Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Paralegal Power-Up. By using the service you agree to them. The product is in beta and provided to a limited set of pilot firms.

Who can use it

The service is for legal professionals and their firms. You must be authorized to act for your firm and to submit the content you upload.

Not legal advice

Paralegal Power-Up produces first drafts and assistance, not legal advice. AI output can be wrong or incomplete and must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before it is relied upon or sent to a client. The product’s attorney-approval workflow supports this — it does not replace professional judgment. You are responsible for the final work product.

Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of the content you submit and the output you generate. You are responsible for having the right to submit that content, for protecting attorney-client privilege, and for obtaining any client consent required. Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, or to attempt to access another firm’s data or the underlying systems.

Our platform

We own the platform, software, and brand. We grant your firm a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during your pilot or subscription.

Beta & availability

Beta features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and availability isn’t guaranteed. We’ll give reasonable notice of significant changes to pilot firms.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” during beta, without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

Either party may end a pilot at any time. On termination we will, on request, delete or return your firm’s content, subject to legal retention obligations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
